Newsletter

July – August 2017

Hello Ladies,

Yep, late again. All you who attended our Birthday party will know why! And thank you for the great turn out—we had a wonderful time.

Sunday, July 9th, Shelly and I will be at the Make-and-Take day in Browns Plains. There will be many shops doing make-and-takes at the Square Dance Hall in Magnesium Drive. The day will start at 10am and finish at 2pm. We will be doing a card using Pixie Powders. Should be fun and we hope to see you there.

A couple of new classes for this newsletter. I will be making a pretty rose bauble that can be hung or given as a gift. There are several ways to personalize the bauble if you wish to pass it on to someone special.

I will be repeating the triple layered frame class as I have had several requests for it. We will change it up a bit by using the very gorgeous Starlight paints on our frames. Nice bit of sparkle and bling. Anyone who missed the birthday party missed the introduction of these beautiful paints. They are very versatile as they dry on a variety of surfaces, can be used to water-colour and only need one coat to cover a surface! Shelly and I love them!

Camp is almost full, so if you were thinking of coming with us you will need to be quick.

Ok I am doing three quick cards  in both July and August but there will be limited places so please hurry and book.  One set of cards will be themed butterflies and the August will be a surprise but it will include some very pretty 3d pictures.  Again we will do a little book in July, and to beat the winter blues we are doing something bright and cheerful.  In August we will make a memory box.  This can be as specific or as general as you would like.

A note from the Mum of Barbara:  I have a couple of oil heaters to give away. They are in good working order. If anyone is interested please let Barbara know.
