November – December 2017

Hello everyone,
Well the year is nearly finished! How me flies. We are at that important me of the year when you
need to mark your calendar with the Shop’s Christmas party date! It will be held on Saturday, December
2nd from 9.30am unl 2pm. Everyone is invited! Barbara and her mum will be whipping up some fabulous
Christmas food and it is always so pretty to look at and so tasty that it would be a shame if only Barbara
and I ate it.
There are changes to some of the classes at this me of year so be sure to check that your regular classes
are happening. Also note, that for the first time ever, Shelly and Barbara are having time off over
Christmas. The shop will be closed on Dec. 23rd and will reopen on January 2nd.
Camp was absolutely fabulous this year, Barbara and I have only just recovered. Thankyou everyone for
helping to make it such a huge success. Barbara has already booked Bornhoffen for 2018, it will be a little
chiller as we could only book in for the end of August. But we are inside so we will all be warm enough.
We are preparing a flyer with all details so keep an eye out for it.
We have some fabulous classes over the next two months. I will be doing a miniature 3D Christmas tree
class using the Kaisercraft layered fir tree die. This little tree is lovely and will make a great decoration for
your table, you also get to keep the die worth $27.00. You will need to bring your own cuttlebug or
bigshot and places are limited so you please book quickly. Everyone had such a great time last month
making beaded angels that in November we will be making beaded snowflakes. Please book for this class
as soon as possible, I need an idea on how many snowflakes and beads I have to provide. Kids are on
holidays in December so I will be running a card class for them but adults are welcome too. I won’t be
doing the normal Three Quick Cards in November but in December we will be making 6 quick cards with
one piece of A4. So pretty. Barbara is teaching the dreamcatcher class that was done at camp,
in November. So much easier than it looks. In December, we are doing the build a bird class. This is a lot of
fun and open to children. I think they will love this one. Samples are in the shop.

Tool Time!
$5.00 per hour
You must book your time.
